We are so grateful for all the work done by teachers to make the Gala such a special event! Below is some information you may find useful but do not hesitate to email the team with any queries.

  1. We trust your professional judgement when choosing which group is best for your students. For non-Suzuki pieces, if you are happy your student will be able to perform the pieces to the same level and with the same musicality as you expect of their Suzuki repertoire, then they are welcome!
  2. Please remind your students that they must memorise all the pieces, and not to practise only the top piece.
  3. We recommend that you and your students listen to and become familiar with the MP3 recordings on this website, as the introductions and accompaniments are different from the normal ones. Practice along with them to get used to the entries!
  4. We have piano reductions of most of the accompaniments. If these will be helpful for your group lessons/concerts please get in touch: [email protected]
  5. Violin Group 1: The markings for the Mendelssohn Concerto have changed since the Gala Concert in 2023. Please make sure you have downloaded the latest edition from the website.
