How do I apply to become a teacher trainee?

Anyone wishing to become a Suzuki teacher trainee should attend an open day presentation or one of the training courses, and observe classes. An interview and audition will be arranged and, if successful, the candidate will join the British Suzuki Music Association and be enrolled as a trainee.

Please email [email protected] to arrange, or with any questions about the training course.

If you are ready to apply, please ensure you have the following to hand:

1) An up-to-date CV to attach to the application form
2) The names and contact details of two referees; one must be a musician
3) Your audition repertoire prepared (you will email the YouTube links later; please click here to see the accepted pieces)
4) £30 to be paid by PayPal for the audition fee

When you are ready to apply, please click below to fill in all the details. Take note of the email address you need to send your YouTube links. Applications are due by 15 June 2021 but we appreciate early responses.
