We were delighted to host our third Friends of British Suzuki Fundraising Concert on 20th September at St Peter’s Church in Notting Hill.

Music director Kate Conway put together a thrilling programme which ranged from Tango Jalousie, by Gade, to the Ravel sonata for piano and violin in G, the Barber violin concerto, the Bartok Romanian Dances and Carmen Fantasy by Sarasate.

Teachers such as Helen Brunner, Roxana Rumney, Guillem Calvo and Wei Yee Shiu performed alongside some of very talented alumni.

We are so grateful to all perfomers for donating their time and to everyone who came. We made a profit of over £1200, which will be used for bursaries for both teacher trainees and students.
